APPLICATIONS
POSITION OF THE GOLF PROTRACTOR ON THE TARGET LINE
FOR INTERMEDIATE PLAYERS
For golfers that are inconsistent with their swing plane ( mostly mid handicapped), we recommend setting up the Protractor on a target line to the back of the stance. When you cock your wrists turn them with the club parallel to the ground and parallel to the target line. Golfers should be able to touch the plane rod with the club face - that's the distance we recommend to set up the Protractor's plane rod. This setup will allow Golfers to take the club face on a outside of the plane rod during backswing and have the club face pass on the inside of the plane rod on the down swing.
POSITION OF THE GOLF PROTRACTOR OUTSIDE THE TARGET LINE
FOR BEGINNERS
For golfers who swing over the top (mostly beginners), we recommend setting up the Protractor 4 or 5 inches outside of the target line and to the back of your stance, such that you can reach the rod with the club face during your take away in check point #1, practice on the inside without touching it during your swing.
POSITION OF THE GOLF PROTRACTOR INSIDE THE TARGET LINE
FOR ADVANCE PLAYERS
For golfers who are getting stuck ( mostly advanced), we recommend setting up the Protractor inside the target line, on a line between your toes and the golf ball, to the back to your stance. When you setup, cock your wrists, turn them with the club parallel to the ground and parallel to the target line. Golfers should set the Protractor at a distance where they are able to touch the plane rod with the club face and practice swing on a outside of plane rod.
